Pasir Ris · Tampines
A massive residential and commercial dual-hub offering a perfect blend of coastal leisure and urban vitality.
District 18 represents the peak of Singapore’s "Regional Centre" planning. Tampines, named after the ironwood trees (tempinis) that once grew there, was the first to be designated a Regional Centre in the 1990s. Pasir Ris (meaning "white sand" in Malay) transitioned from a getaway spot for plantation owners into a premier seaside residential town known for its holiday chalets and greenery.
